The Hunter's Lane is a new and exciting Florida-based hunting brand, established in 2023.  Our mission is to create unique hunting brand experience that promotes ethical game-winning hunting strategies and cultivates a community of educated and well-prepared hunters. We provide hunting & fishing enthusiasts with useful guides as well as information on the best and newest hunting gear, including firearms, fishing gear, outdoor technologies and more.

Why Intern For The Hunter's Lane?: 

An internship with The Hunter's Lane is an unpaid professional learning experience that offers meaningful, practical work related to your field of study or career interest. An internship with us gives you a very unique opportunity for career exploration and development, and to take part in growing the newest brand name in hunting. This is an excellent opportunity to build first-hand experience working in the hunting & fishing industry. Our internship sessions are 6-12 months in duration, and may be renewed as needed.

 

Do I Need To Live In Florida?

You do not need to live in Florida to intern for The Hunter's Lane. Our current internship opportunities are all remote (work from home) positions.

 

What Do I Need?

We recommend dedicating or creating a comfortable, quiet workspace in your home to allow you to perform your internship tasks with minimal distractions. Your local library is a great alternative workspace as well, especially if you do not have access to a printer at home.

 

As with any remote work position, there are items you will need to successfully execute your internship. Below is a list of what you will need to complete your internship tasks:

• Laptop or desktop computer (Does not need to be "new", but MUST be reliable)

• Computer printer

• Reliable high-speed internet connection.

• Cell phone or land-line phone number at which you can be reached directly.

• Pens/Pencils & Notebook(s)

 

Available Internship Positions 

• Article Writers - Create monthly articles covering topics relating to hunting, fishing, firearms & ammo and bow hunting.

• Promoter  - Promote The Hunter's Lane brand utilizing social media and any other approved available means of creating and expanding upon brand awareness.

• Hunters - Provide tips, advice, and discuss techniques during game hunts while being filmed (or self-filming) for THL videos that will be posted on the website and social media.

• Video Production/Editing [*Local position - Clearwater/Tampa, FL applicants ONLY*] - Film local Florida hunting activities, edit footage, format and convert to media files, able to be uploaded to YouTube and other social media.

Qualifications: 

• Must be at least18 years of age. 

• Comfortable and proficient with computers, experienced in internet researching, and able to comfortably use video conferencing technologies/programs utilized for team meetings (Instructions would be provided).

• Self-motivated with a strong ability to meet deadlines reliably.

• Able to be reliably reached by phone while actively on a task for THL.

• Ability to participate in conference calls, video calls or zoom meetings (With at least 24 hours prior notice)

• Experience in article writing is strongly preferred, but not mandatory. We are happy to work with passionate, promising writers who are looking to build upon their skills and experience.

• 2 years experience in hunting and fishing is strongly preferred, but we will consider those with at least 1 year of experience.
