I live on a cattle ranch in a windy rodeo town in Central Washington. My husband is a 6th generation farmer and cattle rancher. Along with ranching, growing hay, and corn we also grow pumpkins and Christmas trees. This keeps us busy all year long.
On a normal day at the ranch there is sure to be sheep in the driveway, chickens in the barnyard, a pesky pig or two being chased out of the garden and the only traffic we get around here is when we are moving cows to new grass.
When I'm not in the kitchen, garden, or wrangling little boys you can find me with a cup of tea and a few balls of yarn. I've been crocheting and knitting since I was 10 and never stopped! My hands have to be moving.
Here at Hunter Lane Co. I hope to inspire you to slow down, and enjoy those little moments.
Come on down the lane and don't forget to shut the gate!
